Please note, it is HOT where we are located (Kansas). We will include ice packs at no charge for orders including chocolate and other delicate food items, but we will not issue refunds or accept returns for chocolate or other delicate food items that arrive melted. This policy is in effect until this message is removed from our web site (most likely September). Order chocolate and delicate food items at your own risk. Thank you for your understanding.
We are happy to issue refunds for merchandise and/or shipping as follows:
1.If the merchandise is damaged or expired, or if you were sent the wrong item, we will refund both the merchandise and the shipping charges. Refunds will not be issued for heat damage to items such as chocolate that have been shipped to APO/FPO addresses.
2.If the merchandise you receive is the product that you ordered, but upon receipt you no longer want it or you see that you ordered the wrong item, we will refund the merchandise charge only, once the merchandise has been returned to us. We will not refund the shipping charges for sending the merchandise to your address, nor will we refund the shipping charges incurred for returning the merchandise to us.
IN BOTH OF THESE CASES ABOVE, PLEASE CONTACT JULIE at firstname.lastname@example.org or 785-865-0876 to file your claim. If we deem it necessary for you to return damaged/expired merchandise to us, we will reimburse you for the return shipping charges. Reimbursements will be processed upon receipt of returned merchandise at our facility.
In order to receive a refund, the following guidelines must be met:
1.The claim must be filed no later than 30 days after the merchandise was delivered at your address.
2.Merchandise that must be returned to us for a refund must be returned with its original packing slip, and in its original packaging. If, for example, you choose to return a glass item in a different packing box with different packing materials and the glass item breaks in transit, we will not issue a refund for the item (or the shipping, if applicable).
We will NOT issue refunds for the following items:
1.Any chocolate or other heat-sensitive item that you order and specially request us to send to you in DISCORDANCE with our chocolate/heat sensitive shipping policies. (See our Shipping Polices for further information.)
2. Items that expire more than two months and 1 day after shipment from our facility, unless there is another reason for the refund besides the expiration date.
3.Items that were purchased in our brick-and-mortar store. All merchandise purchased in our retail store must be returned in person at 931 Massachusetts Street, Lawrence, KS.
