Shipping Policies
Back-Ordering
On occasion, we are temporarily out of items. If something you have ordered is out of stock, you will be contacted within 48 hours of order placement via email. If you do not reply to our email within 24 hours we will call the phone number you have provided.
If we are unable to email/speak with you regarding an out-of-stock item, we will ship your order with the items that we do have in stock, and request that you reorder out-of-stock items at a later date.
Special Instructions
Please indicate if you do not wish to have an invoice/packing slip included with your order. Instructions, such as this, can be entered in the “Special Instructions” field at the end of the ordering process. You can also use this field to indicate a special message to be included for a gift or provide substitutions for out-of-stock items.
Your Information
Au Marché will never share your personal information. Your e-mail address and phone number will only be used to contact you regarding orders.
Shipping Costs
Please note that for heavier orders (such as those with glass items), shipping via UPS Ground is generally less expensive. We recommend shipping lightweight orders through USPS Priority Mail. At the end of the ordering process, please choose the shipping method you prefer by clicking on the pull down arrow. If you wish to compare shipping costs while shopping, you can use our shipping calculator to do so – it will appear once items have been added to your cart.
Shipping in Warm Weather
If you are ordering heat-sensitive items such as chocolate during the summer months, your order will be shipped with ice-packs and special insulation. In order to lengthen the life of the ice-packs and therefore protect your items from heat-damage, we will only ship heat-sensitive items so that they arrive within the week (not over weekends.) Although Au Marché takes extra care to insure that your order arrives in good condition, we unfortunately will not reimburse customers for damages caused to merchandise by heat.
International Orders
The Au Marché web site does not calculate shipping for international orders. However, we will gladly accept international orders through phone or e-mail inquiries. Please contact Amelia at orders@aumarche.com for shipping pricing or further questions.
Specials and Promotions
If you wish to receive periodic emails about new products and special promotions both in-store and online, you can sign up for our e-newsletter. You can do so when prompted while placing your order, or simply by clicking on the “Subscribe to our E-Newsletter” option displayed on each page of our website.
APO/FPO Shipping
Au Marché supports our troops overseas and ships via USPS to all APO/FPO addresses.
